Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer Specialist is responsible for leading and optimizing manufacturing processes within the Coilshop area, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in heat exchanger production. This role provides advanced technical expertise in equipment such as Fin Press, Hairpin Benders, and Expander systems, focusing on process stability, capability, and continuous improvement.

The position drives problem-solving initiatives, defines critical process parameters, and supports production through hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership. The Manufacturing Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while supporting new product introductions and process validation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or related field).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven experience in Coilshop  manufacturing processes.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • Fin Press machines (progressive dies, fin forming)
    • Hairpin Benders (tube bending processes)
    • Expander systems (tube expansion and fin bonding)
  • Solid understanding of metal forming processes (copper and aluminum).
  • Experience with process validation tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, Cp/Cpk).
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Why).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
